What a wonderful man Mr. Hinkebein was. I had the pleasure of caring for him in 2012 as he was trying to gain strength and thought he was one of the nicest people I had ever met. Thoughts and prayers going out to the family and friends.

So sorry about the loss of your brother. Remember your family well and our two wonderful babysitters Mary and Louise. Our children remember your dad and his pigeons.  Your old neighbors, The Washbish family.

Dr. Hinkebein was such a dear man.  He was my dentist from when I was in High School (Mercy was a short walk from his office) until he retired.  When I started seeing him he had only been in practice with his dad for a short period of time and it was before they built the new office. I recommended him to friends and family and thought very highly of him.  My condolences to his family and all of his friends.

Bob will be missed. I grew up with his kids, and spent so much of my childhood at their house. He was so much fun, and a great dad to his kids spending time with them and their friends. Everytime I see the movie Star Wars I think of him.  He is a big part of my childhood memories.

Was sorry to hear about Bob's passing.  He was a friend who lived across the street from me for 13 years and also my dentist.  I enjoyed our many conversations in our front yards and also in the dentist chair.  He was always compassionate and willing to  take his time to  make you comfortable.  He will be greatly missed.

My husband, Richard, and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Bob Hinkebein. When my daughter, Rosemary was about 2 years old, he taught her how to push the buttons that operated the chair going up and down, the water dispenser, and all kinds of wonderful, magical things in the dentist's office! Whenever I said we had to go to the dentist, she would exclaim, “Oh boy! I love going to the dentist!” Now how many kids do you know who love to go to the dentist? She was never afraid of the dentist and actually enjoyed going to the dentist's office! What a lovely, gentle soul! You will be missed here on earth! Thank you, Dr. Hinkebein!

Dr. Bob Hinkebein was a real gentleman and no one cared more for his patients than he did. While I only saw him rarely, I would talk with him at least once or twice a week regarding patients that he had referred to me for root canals. He was just a pleasure to work with, as was his father. His patients were lucky to have him and I was lucky to work with him. He will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear that Dr. H passed away.  I think about our lunches together and the times in his garden.  I will never forget about the time I almost got us in a fight at Jim Porter's at a Maynard Ferguson concert.  He was an important part of my life for 10 years.  I will cherish our time together.
