Robert Ray “Bob” Cureton, 92, of Louisville, passed away October 7, 2024. He was retired from General Electric after 41 years of service. He was an Air Force veteran, and a member of Highview Baptist Church Fegenbush Campus.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Evelyn Cureton; and his son-in-law, Paul Schrum. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Evelyn Collier Cureton; daughters, Pam McArthur(Jim), Mona Schrum, Vanessa Mayhugh, and Felicia Sollman(Stu); grandchildren, Sarah Richards(Ben), Kelly Crissman(Jason Samples), Sally Prather(John), Eli Schrum(Kate), Thomas Mayhugh III, Allison Mayhugh, Liam Kelly, Jacob Sollman, and Mei Sollman; and his great-grandchildren, Eliza Richards, Scott Schrum, George Schrum, and Elspeth Marsh.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory can be made to Hosparus, Highview Baptist Church, or a charity of the sender’s choice.
