Bob was born to Robert Cartwright Jr. and Wanda Sutphin on March 21, 1953 in Ashland, KY where he was raised. Bob graduated from the University of Kentucky. Following graduation Bob moved to Louisville where he met the love of his life, Mollie, and he began the pursuit of his greatest accomplishment, raising his three beloved sons Bobby, Alex, and Michael.
He is survived by his wife, Mollie, sons, Bobby (Priscilla), Alex (Christine), and Michael (Ali) Cartwright, his grandchildren Theodore and Beckham Cartwright, and his brother Matt Hall.
Bob will be remembered lovingly for his sense of humor and loyalty, his patience and composure, and his devotion to his family.
A private family service will be held to honor Bob.
Bob’s family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
