Bobby was a lover of music, which played a huge role in his life. He had a beautiful singing voice, seemed to be able to play any instrument he put his hands on, and had a special talent for guitar and drums. While Bobby didn't have much to give, he was always finding something to give away. Basically, he just wanted to see everyone around him happy.
In addition to history and documentaries, Bobby loved finding interesting second-hand items and oddities. Others saw junk, but he would always say that they were "brand new." Just as he saw the good in objects, Bobby also saw the good in people. He was always accepting, was never judgmental of others, and had a knack for making friends with anyone he came across. But the greatest loves in Bobby's life were his grandchildren. They often referred to him as "the best Poppy in the world". To say that Bobby was loved would be an understatement. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bob" Glasgow; mother, Hazel Mae Tomerlin; step-father, Albert "Tommy" Tomerlin; brother, James "Doc" Glasgow; nephew, David Lee Glasgow; and niece, Tiffany Tomerlin.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michael Glasgow (Teresa), Melissa Millet (David), Stephanie Talbott (Steve), Nicola Hawkins (Kyle); grandchildren, Taylar Glasgow (Bryan), Amber Glasgow, Haleigh Glasgow, Makyla Talbott, Caden Talbott, Andrew Hawkins, Addison Hawkins, Aiken Hawkins, Asher Hawkins; siblings, Dorothy Twigg (David), Gloria Beckham (Mark), David Glasgow (Debbie), Suisan Hart (Kenny), Darrell Glasgow (Gayla), Donald Glasgow (Tom); and 39 loving nieces and nephews.
