Robbie Young

Mrs. Robbie Jean Young returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 27, 2024. She was born on April 21, 1936 in Springfield, Kentucky to the late James and Mary Catherine Wright. Robbie was a faithful member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Matthew Young; and siblings, James Wright and Joseph Wright, Delores Logan and Cathy Riley.

Robbie is survived by her children, Norma Thornton (Keith), Deborah Evans, Matthew Young and Jermaine Young (Tiffany) and Charles Warner; grandchildren, Latasha O'Bannon (Terry), Timica Thornton, Latavia Withers (Terrance), Cortney Evans, Brieana Young, Isaiah Young, Jermaine Young, Jr., Omari Young, Lyndsey Mellas and Jada Young; great grandchildren, Deonta` Thornton (Brittani), Ciera Thornton, Ke`Aris Thornton and Terrance O’Bannon; great-great grandchildren, Terrance Withers, III and Xavier Bravo; and sister, Cecelia Hickman; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 12 pm until 2:30 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy. Mrs. Young will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
