I did not have the privilege of meeting Rita, however, knowing the kindhearted gentleman that you are and from reading her obituary, it is very easy to know that she was a very lovely, gracious and caring person. She was a real blessing to many, many people. I look forward to the day that you introduce me to Rita in heaven.

I was a classmate of Rita's at Eubank High School in Eubank, KY.  Just enjoyed visiting with her at our class reunion, the first of October 2017.

Fred I send my deepest regrets to you and the entire family at the time of this great loss.

Rita was a beautiful spirit, who had a deep feeling for her friend's and for life as we know it.

May God Bless all of you and give peace and love at one of this life's most difficult times.

I met Rita and Fred at the Tea Party events.  She was always gracious and smiling.  A lovely lady, am sure she'll be missed by many.

Rita Debord was her name when I met her at Our Lady of Peace in 1962.  She was the Head Nurse and she was my supervisor.  A marvelous lady and leader.  I lived in Fern Creek on Seatonville Road at the time, and when John was born I baby sat a time for her and her children were always well behaved and pleasant.  My name is Dorothy Halbleib and I have not seen her for years but many memories I do have of our friendship.

Such a pretty, gracious lady. She made me feel so welcomed at the TEA party meetings. A true treasure, who will be missed by me and so much more by her family. By heartfelt condolences. May memory of her smile and the meaning of the Christmas season, season of love, comfort you.

Fred, was sadden to hear of Rita's passing.  Carole Bretchscheider kept me abreast of her condition - bless her heart.  Her smile was so contagious.  May you feel God's Arms of comfort around you during this time of mourning and grief.  His Grace will sustain you - that's a promise!  

Fred, I felt so honored to meet both of you and what short time I was involved with the Tea Party and 912 Project, her smile always put a smile on my face.  Prayers are sent to you and your family.

Fred and Family,  We are so saddened by the loss of  Sweet Rita.  She helped Dave thru many ups and downs with his cancer.  We pray that God will give you comfort and peace at this very difficult time.

Fred and family, my heart aches for you.  I loved Rita and admired her strength and her ability to love everyone around her.  I will miss her laugh.  My whole family dearly loved her, especially my Dad (her Uncle Lee). We had so much fun growing up with Rita, Sonny and Kendall.  Stringing tobacco was quite the challenge for me and they always got a kick out of that, wonderful memories.  God Bless you, Fred and the whole family.  Our prayers and thoughts will always be with you.  May God wrap his loving arms around you all and make these next days ahead a little less painful. Fred, it has been such an honor to know and volunteer with Rita over the past years. She was a 1st class lady and a loyal patriot. I will certainly miss her and that sweet smile. As you endure this painful loss, just know that we friends are with you in this loss. Remember, Jesus is as close as the mention of His name.
