Rita Elizabeth Clayton
August 31, 1938 – April 24, 2015
IN THE CARE OF
Rita Elizabeth (Caldwell) Clayton, 76, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015. She retired from the University of Louisville in 2007 after 29 years of service and remained an avid Cardinal fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Clayton, sister, Lois Johnson, and grandchild, Jonathan Springmier.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sandra (Mark) Kunitsky, Kimberly Springmier, and Jenifer Cecil, grandchildren, Meredith Springmier, J.R. Cecil, Jordan Springmier, and Hope Cecil. Beloved Mother and Nana, our hearts will be strong until we are together again.
The family will hold a private memorial service with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery.
