Booth, Rita Miles, 83, of Louisville, KY passed away June 15, 2017. She was born January 15, 1934 to Estel and Dorothy of Gallateon County, Kentucky. She was the oldest of 11 children. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witness since 1962 and attended the Fern Valley Congregation.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Ray and Steve Booth; 1 sister, Betty Couch; and 2 brothers, Jimmy and David Miles.
Rita leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 67 years, Grover “Tommy” Booth Jr.; daughter, Jackie Gardner; sons, Greg and Grover (Gina); sisters, Patsy Miles, Anita Kelso, Becky McBurney (Bob), Jackie Griffin (Chaddy), Debbie Bickers (Gilbert); brothers, Billie Miles (Autumn) and Terry Miles (Janet), 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 1 great, great grandchild.
Visitation will be Monday, June 19, 2017 from 10:00am-2:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will also be on Monday at 2:00pm. Entombment will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
