Ricky Joe Davis

Ricky was born in Corydon, Indiana on January 10, 1978.

Ricky is preceded in death by his grandmother Joyce Roberts, grandfather, Robert Davis, and his uncle Scotty Davis.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents; Sammy Davis (Kim) and Devonda Roberts (Frank); along with his loving wife Melanie Davis, his daughter, Lilly Davis, two step children, Lauren Lowery and Shawn Lowery; along with his brothers, Calvin Davis (Erin) and Cameron Davis, his two sisters, Samantha Seeders (Michael Todd) and Tiffany Ball (Bobby). His grandparents; Nancy Davis and Shafter Roberts. Three uncles; Lonnie Davis (Joy), Joey Roberts (Shawn), and Greg Roberts. His nieces and nephews; Jacob Davis (Macy), Cash Davis, Bobby Ball III, Macy Seeders, Tristin Seeders, Brooklyn Northern, CJ Hyatt, and Madilynn Hyatt.

In Ricky’s pastime he enjoyed coaching and watching his daughter Lilly play softball, as she was the sunshine of his life. And, he also loved to travel, listening to music, and watching all types of sports.

Ricky was so loved and will be missed by so many family and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Joey Roberts, Greg Roberts, Lonnie Davis, Cody Davis, Jacob Davis, and Shawn Lowery.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Sammy Davis.

A visitation for Ricky will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218”
