Richard “Dean” Mitchell, 74, of Louisville passed away November 28, 2012 at Regis Woods Nursing Home. He was born on August 11, 1938 in Fremont, Ohio to the late Charles Mitchell and Catherine Johnson. He was a member and ordained Deacon at Christ Lutheran Church and was a retired Electrical Engineer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Cox Miller Mitchell; children, Doug (Sandy) Mitchell, Jeff (Shari) Mitchell, Brad (Debra) Mitchell; step-children, Tracy (Joel) Potts, Randy (Heather) Miller and Kathy (John) Markwell; grandchildren, Jesse, Kayla, Carly, Addison and Aaron Mitchell, Ashley, Brittany, Ryah, Teagan and David Miller and Kasey Markwell; and a sister, Sharon (Fred) Feick.
A celebration of his life will be conducted Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with visitation beginning at 10. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
