LEFFLER, RICHARD LOUIS, 83, of South Louisville, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Essex Nursing Home. He was a member of Beechmont Baptist Church and a Korean War veteran. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Willa Mae Leffler; his wife, Jean Reynolds Leffler; brothers, William, James, George, and Lawrence Leffler; and a sister, Minnie Jean Leffler Reynolds. He is survived by his brother, Harvey Leffler (Donna); sister, Alice Leffler Martin; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of Richards life will be 10 a.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012, with burial in Lebanon National Cemetery. Expressions may be made to the Crusade for Children.
