Richard E. Kent, 53, of Louisville, passed away at his home on February 6, 2012. He was retired from Ford Motor Company with over 30 years of service. Ricky, as he was known to his family and friends, was an avid NASCAR fan, car and sport enthusiast, especially soccer. He was member of UAW #862 and PeeWee Valley Masonic Lodge #829.
Ricky was predeceased by his parents, Earl L. and Rosie Tedesco Kent.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Robert, Nicholas and Joshua Kent; sister, Diann (Richard) Mohon; brothers, George (Dena) and John (Karen) Kent; aunt, Phyllis K. Williams; mother of his sons, Teresa Kent; along with several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
A Life Celebration service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
