Richard Lee “Spider” Edwards, 80 of Louisville passed away March 22, 2011.
He was a General Electric retiree, a Member of the American Legion post 157 and an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
He is survived by his brothers: Walter Edwards (Betty) and William Edwards (Pauline), a sister Jane Ann Lang (George), and a very special friend, Jean Johnson. Richard is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday March 24, 2011 at the Last Supper Chapel Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 2-7 p.m. Wednesday March 23, 2011 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road.
