Richard Joey Best, 53, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at his home from natural causes. He was born in Winter Haven, Florida on January 9, 1966 to the late Alvin and Mary Bratt Best. He graduated from high school and went to work for Pat’s Steak House, where he had been for the past 30 plus years.

He is survived by his loving family including his sister; Dora Best Caudill (Dean) and brother; Patrick Best, and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and many many dear friends.

A service to celebrate Richard’s life will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Avenue. Friends and family are welcome to visit 2-4 pm Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Richard’s memory in care of the funeral home.
