Mr. Benningfield was a live worker at Dean Dairy and a former employee of Alcoa. He was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Randy enjoyed many things, including fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Fran; a daughter, Chelsie Benningfield; a stepson, Andrew Cunningham; his parents, Randell, Sr. and Stella Benningfield; a brother, Buster Benningfield (Bridgett); a sister, Missy Benningfield; and a grandchild, Brayden Campbell.
His funeral service will be on Thursday, September 4th, at noon at the Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 11512 Andalee Drive, with interment following at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2pm until 8pm at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, and 10am until 12pm at his church.
