Ralph was born on September 27, 1946 in Willisburg, KY to the late Marvin and Beulah Scott Baker. He served our country in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. He was always very proud of his military service; in fact, he was supposed to be on the Honor Flight this September. Ralph was a great family man; he loved his children and grandchildren. He also, liked watching the Young and the Restless, drag racing, and was known for his frequent shopping sprees at Walmart; where towards the end he could tell you where anything was in the store.
Along with his parents; he is predeceased by his brother, Donald Baker and his grandson, Brandon Baker.
Here to carry on his memory are his children, Donald Baker (Candace), Belinda Morrison, Michael Sizemore and Spring Turner; grandchildren, Alexus Baker, Adrianna Hogan, Spencer Smith, Zachary Morrison, Tyler Ballback, Dakota Sizemore, Austin Sizemore, Shawn Sizemore, Ricky Cox, Cynthia Cox, Vivian Janes, Lilly Turner and Sarah Turner. He also has great grandchildren, Evan Cox, Angel Cox and Hazel Rain; sisters, Ruth Ann Barnett and Nancy Baker; nieces, Shannon Bryant and Sheri Barnett; and nephew, Steve Barnett. There is also so many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A memorial gathering will take place from 11am to 2pm Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. The memorial service will follow immediately after the gathering at 2pm.
