Ralph Arnold Jr.

Ralph William Arnold Jr. passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at age 68. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Ralph and Patricia Arnold. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Ralph had a love for the outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting, and he was an avid fan of the University of Louisville sports teams. He also had a passion for playing scratch-offs. He was proudly a union member of Sheet Metal Local #110.

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughter Madelynn Troutt, and his brother, Edward (Eddie) Arnold.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sherry Arnold; his children, Marcie Troutt (Jeremy), Stephanie Owens (Brandon), Melissa Horn (Jake), and Ralph William Arnold III (Bubba) (Amber); and his grandchildren, Kaylee, Peyton (who will be officiating the service), Brady, Abigail, Nikolas, Avery, Landon, Camden, Zoey, and Sawyer. He is also survived by his siblings, Lovetta Williams (Jerry), Kenneth Arnold, and Donald Arnold, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, including his niece April Arnold, with whom he shared a special bond.

Ralph will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Ralph will be held Friday, April 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272. A funeral will occur Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
