I couldn't believe it when Eric gave me the call.  God bless him for letting me visit you while you were still with us.  We have loved each other for fifty years, and I can't imagine life without you.  And your children are really something to be proud of

I was saddened to see this obituary in the Record-Herald. I had not seen Phillip in years, but I recognized the name and photo right away. I remember Phillip coming over to our house in Greensburg when he was little...we were the same age and we would play outside in the back yard with the rest of my cousins. I know we are related somehow, but not sure how at the moment. Mom took two photos of us together sitting on the piano in the living room...I still have the photos. Mom and Dad took us to the fair one year, too. Lots of good memories. We lost touch over the years, but I still thought of Phillip. I am thankful I knew him, even if it was just as a child because I cherish those memories a lot.

I was fortunate enough to work with Phil for 8 years. I always enjoyed his stories and his kind words. I don't think he ever called me Jean but always a "Hi baby" in the sweetest of ways. He will be truly missed.  Jean Estep

Phil was such an incredibly kind and helpful person.  He was attentive and responsive whenever a patient needed something quickly or when there was an emergency.  His gentle nature and patience were such an asset to the Pharmacy department, and as a nurse I was always reassured to know Phil was working on my shift.  I am so sorry for your loss; it is our loss as well for he was a great co-worker.

Uncle Phil, Time slips away too quickly and before we know it dawn turns to dusk in our busy days. It has been too long since I last saw your face, that smile and your laugh. I will cherish my memories of late night talks on the couch, trying not to wake Granny:) That seems like yesterday, and yet they are no more. I will keep you in my heart next to Dad and Granny forever. Another kind and loving angel for heaven. Becki and Eric, all my love and sorrow now.

My dear Phil, although we had grown apart as the years passed with families and jobs, you were still important to me.  You and I were so very close when we were young and I always told people that you were like a brother to me in those early years. Growing up together in Greensburg and then being together again those couple of years in Louisville were some of the happiest days of my life. I will miss you so very much.  All my love.
