Philip G. Merz, 78, of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 with his loving family by his side.
Philip was a retired carpenter for Air-Guard and Mastercrafters. Philip was an Army veteran during the Korea Conflict.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Patricia "Thomas" Merz; his two sons, Mark Merz (Elizabeth) and John Merz (Deletta); also four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Philip's funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from noon until 2 p.m.
