Peggy Faye Phelps

Peggy F. "Mimi" Phelps, 79, entered into eternal rest January 14, 2015. Peggy was a loving, sweet, mother and wife who always put others before herself. She loved to work in the yard and enjoyed spending time with her family and beloved pet, Roady.

Preceding her in death were her siblings, J.G. Mallory and Elizabeth Powell.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Pat Phelps; children, John C. Keele and Leigh Ann Ford (Preston); grandchildren, Lindsey A. Creason (David), Leslie Ford, Cassie Durbin (Brett), Michael Ford (Becka) and Wesley Ford; great-grandchild, Korben Creason; siblings, Cecil Mallory, Earlene Hall, Sandra Groves (Glendal), J.C. Mallory (Barbara Sue), Linda Groves (Joe Neal); step-children, Patti Bingham and Rhett and Lori Phelps, beloved nieces, nephews and numerous family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday 2pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with private entombment to follow. Visitation will be Saturday after 12:00 pm until the time of the service.

The family would like to request that memorial donations in Peggy's name be directed to the American Cancer Society.
