Pearl was proceeded in death by her parents George and Margaret Combs, her siblings, William, Catherine, and George Jr Combs, her husband of 68 years, Melvin Lentz, and her daughter Rebecca Wallace.
Left to cherish her memory are her son-in-law, Edward Wallace and granddaughters Courtney Wallace (Adelaide Luckett) and Kristie Ash (Todd), as well as her nephew Freddie Rhea (Deloris). She also will be remembered by her two great grandchildren, Josi and Carter Ash, who she adored.
Pearl Lentz graduated from J. M. Atherton High School for Girls as part of the last all girls class in 1950.
Visitation will occur at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218 from 11 AM-2 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2022. A celebration of Pearl’s life will follow visitation beginning at 2:00 PM.
Mrs. Lentz will be laid to rest privately in Resthaven Memorial Park.
