Patrick Michael Morgan, a kind-hearted and dedicated man, passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 77. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on January 9th, 1946, he was the son of Aubrey Kenneth Hill and Edna Josephine Hurt. Patrick's life was defined by his commitment to his family, his distinguished military service, and his successful career in the swimming pool industry.
Patrick proudly served his country as a decorated Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. His bravery and selflessness in the face of adversity reflected his deep love for his country and his unwavering dedication to protecting the freedoms we hold dear. His service in the military was a testament to his character and exemplified his commitment to a greater cause.
In his professional life, Patrick began his journey as a warehouse worker and displayed a remarkable work ethic and determination. He climbed the ranks to become the Vice President of Operations for Recreonics Swimming Pools, where he dedicated 46 and a half years of his career to the swimming pool industry. Patrick's hard work and commitment were recognized by the Apartment Association of Louisville where he was asked to be on the board as an individual, and he achieved national certifications with N.S.P.I., G.L.B., and Hayward. His excellence as a salesman was acknowledged with multiple national salesman of the year awards.
However, Patrick's true legacy lies not in his military service or professional accomplishments, but in the love and devotion he shared with his family. He was a loving husband to his beloved wife of 55 years, Joyce Ann Love Morgan, and a dedicated father to his children, Krista Kaye Finley (Jason) and Michael Steven Morgan (Emily). He embraced his role as a papaw with joy and affection, cherishing every moment spent with his four grandchildren, Ann, Kate, Matthew, and Abigail. Patrick's love and support knew no bounds, and his family held a special place in his heart.
Patrick's kindness, caring nature, and determination were admired by all who knew him. He approached life with a strong work ethic, a resilient spirit, and an unyielding dedication to those he loved. His legacy will forever inspire those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Ann Love Morgan, his children, Krista Kaye Finley (Jason) and Michael Steven Morgan (Emily), his four cherished grandchildren, and his mother, Edna "Joann" Hill.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Patrice Morgan, and his father, Aubrey Kenneth Hill.

It is important to note that Patrick's military service and successful career were merely aspects of his life. The true essence of Patrick Morgan was revealed in his love as a husband and father. His memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him as a man who embraced life's joys and challenges with grace, compassion, and a deep devotion to family.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Pat’s name to Hosparus Health.
May Patrick's soul find eternal rest, and may those who knew him find comfort and peace in the love and memories they shared with him.
