Patricia Ann Wiseman

On October 12, 2015 our fun loving, precious wife, & mother took Jesus’ hand & crossed the Jordan. She is now with her Mother, Father, sisters, brother, many friends & her Lord & Savior.

Patty, as she was known to everyone, was born in Beckley, WV where she grew up & met her husband Walter L. Wiseman. She had 2 daughters, Elizabeth Annette Adkins & Sonja Leigh Atwell. Both residing in KY.

Patty was retired cosmetologist & dental assistant. She also served our country by working in the Civil Service Department in the military. She followed her husband of 64 years through their military career. She loved to travel & has been throughout the United States, France, Germany & England. Patty loved to cook and entertain. She lived her life to the fullest and loved 8her family dearly.

Patty was preceded in death by her Father, Mr. William Wesley Honaker, Mother, Mrs. Daisy Elizabeth Honaker, Sisters, Eloise D. Kennison, Lillian M. Bonds, Sally L. Gallaher, & her brother William W. Honaker II.

She is survived by her loving husband Walter L. Wiseman of Cave City, KY. Her 2 loving daughters, Elizabeth Annette Adkins and partner, Joe Hoover of Elizabethtown, KY and Sonja Leigh Atwell and husband Bruce Atwell of Hardyville, KY, 6 grandchildren, Korina Adkins, Jennifer Payne, Brett Atwell, Chloe Atwell, Jerrika Atwell & Timothy Jordan Atwell, 2 great granddaughters, Amber Rutherford & Julie Payne. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Kathryn Cox of Dallas, TX & Helen M. Janney of Beckley, WV, & many nieces & nephews.

The family wishes to express a sincere thanks to her caregivers; Dawn Smith, Mettie Jeffries, Renee Adwell and Shelby Audet.

We will mourn her passing & celebrate her full and wonderful life.

Funeral Services will be held on October 14, 2015 at 2 pm Eastern Standard Time in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 until the time of service at the funeral home.
