JoAnn graduated from Ahrens Trade School, in June 1951, and retired in 1994 from the Mechanical Contractors Association after serving 20 years as Office Manager. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Ivan J. and Tula Smith Goss, and her brother; William A. Goss.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years; Guy Mackey Jr., and her two sons; Gary Mackey of St. Louis, MO, and Timothy Mackey, her granddaughter; Lauren Mackey (Christine Gamlin) of St. Louis, MO, and her sisters; Doris Cochran of Rochester, MN , and Betty Norris of Crestwood, and several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of JoAnn will be held at Noon on Thursday in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue, with interment at Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
