Patricia Ann Darland

Darland, Patricia Ann (Sewell), 79, of Louisville, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 at home surrounded by family after a long illness. She was a stay at home Mom, an avid country music fan, a 1961 Durrett High School Graduate and lifelong supporter of the United Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents Doris and Claud Sewell, Jr; her brother Ronald Sewell; her brother-in-law Wendell Hurst; sisters-in-law Joyce Hurst and Donna Darland; and great-grand child Conrad Eddington.

She is survived by her husband Carollton “C.B.” Darland, Sr.; her children Carollton “Bud” Darland, Jr., Todd (Margaret) Darland, Debbie (Dale) Chandler; grandchildren Linda (Tylr) Murdock, Erin Darland, Elizabeth (Aaron) Eddington, Marcus Epstein, Hayley (Joe) Harris, Lauren Darland, Tyler Dowell, Lily Darland; great-grandchildren Brayden, Madelyn, Emory; brothers Dr. Philip (Ann) Sewell, Douglas (Carol) Sewell; brother-in-law Gerald Darland; and sister-in-law Pamela Smith.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00pm Thursday, December 15 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Funeral services will be at noon Friday, December 16, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
