Cissell, Patricia "The Memaw", passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Born July 20, 1932 to Tom and Bessie Burke Cusick, she is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Joseph "Joe" Cissell, her two precious daughters, Diane Bosler and Becky Lenz, her sister, Mildred Wheatley and brother, Jack Cusick.
Pat is survived (as she said) "by the bestest kids, Joseph "Joe" Cissell, Vicki and Marty Miller; terrific grandkids, Jason Chesher, Jamie and Robert Johnson, Brandon Bosler, Roslyn Mattingly, Jessica and Marvin Michum, Corey Mattingly, Hannah Mattingly; great great-grandkids, Samantha and Cole Johnson, Jayden and Tavin Chesher, and Parker and Oliver Michum. She is also survived by her sisters, Margie Hilkey and Mae Green, very special niece and nephew (who are like her own kids) Beverly and Bill Berger, lifelong friends Janice Burden, Sandra and Virgil Oakes and last but not least, sweet Lil Bit.
Pat retired after 10 years as a cashier for Canteen at G.E.s Appliance Park. She was twice president of the Louisville Police Officers Auxillary , She was also a member of Southeast Christian Church, and a past member of the St. Pius X Parish. Pat also enjoyed her time with the Police and Firemen's Association, the FiftySomething Club, Electrician's Senior Club 369, her monthly Poker Club and her volunteer work for ECHO.
Pat's favorite charities were Shamrock Pet Foundation, the Kentucky Humane Society, and ECHO, and she would appreciate you remembering her with your donation.
Family and friends are invited to come together on Sunday, August 14, 2016 between the hours of 2 o'clock and 6 o'clock at Tway House-Plainview, 10235 Timberwood Circle. A brief remembrance and celebration of Pat's life is planned for 3 o'clock.
