Pamela Marie Cook

Mrs. Cook was born June 16, 1951 in Louisville to Alberleen and Mary Elizabeth Dorsey Brown, who preceded her in death. She was a longtime traffic guard for the LMPD Traffic Unit at Rutherford Elementary and Liberty High School.

Pamela is survived by her husband of 36 years, Frank; her daughters Julia Catron (Marty Sr. -deceased), and Abigail Decker (Donald); sisters Mary Brooks and Martha Sanders (Melvin); brother, Robert Brown (Rafael); nieces Sandra Puckett (Bob) and Tuwana Rheaume (Larrell); nephew, David Smith (Lonnie); step-daughter Pamela Bacon (Greg), and by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pamela is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. She will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Noon Thursday at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel at 4400 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
