Odean Taylor

Odean was born December 24, 1933 in Mount Sherman, KY. She was a member of Shively Heights Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was a representative for Stanley Home Products. She took pride in being the lead sales consultant for 7 years. Odean loved to be with friends and family enjoying music and dancing. Most of all, she loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Odean was preceded in death by her husband Roy Thomas Taylor; grandsons Ronnie and Donnie Wilson; great-grandson Joseph Allen Williams; and her sister Flora DeSpain.

She is survived by her children Anita L. Collard (Gene) and Glen Thomas Taylor (Connie); grandchildren, Renee Horsely (Joe) and Ronnie Lett; 3 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 12:30-8:00pm Tuesday, and after 10:30 am Wednesday.
