Norma met William “Bill” Lennox, and they were united in marriage on August 24, 1945. Together they built a life of love.
Before her marriage, Norma worked as a switch board operator and after starting a family she became an Election Judge.
For 35 years she and Bill managed Bon Air Manor Apartments and were known as the Mayor and Queen of Bon Air. She was a member of Saint John Paul Catholic Church.
Waiting to embrace Norma was her husband Bill; son Mike Lennox; son-in-laws Ben Pflederer and Denny Johanson; grandson Eric Johnson; and her many beloved granddogs.
To treasure her memory are her daughters, Sharon Pflederer (Ben) and Sandy Johanson (Denny). She was fondly known as Grams or Grandma Cool to 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was loved by so many family members and friends, including her Godson, Bobby OLinick, her adopted daughter Sandy Sexton (Midget), and her dearest friend, Barb Colc.
Norma loved playing Banco and cards, taking casino trips, getting her hair done, manicures and pedicures, shopping for shoes and purses, and listening to the timeless tunes of Elvis Presley and Patsy Cline. She truly loved life.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, with a funeral beginning at 2:00 PM in Norma’s honor. Norma will be laid to rest privately in Resthaven Memorial Park.
