Nate had a passion for art, animals, and live music. Videos of the concerts he attended with his closest friend showed all of us who followed him how much joy that brought to him while living in Columbus, OH. His love of animals drew him to work at a local doggy daycare that he thoroughly enjoyed. This experience drove him to begin pursuit of working with and someday training service animals. His downtime was spent with friends or working on his art projects that found their way to a new online store he built recently to share his art with the world. Nate was a loving and creative soul that will be missed by his friends and family and the world is a lesser place without him.
Nate graduated from North Oldham High School in Goshen, KY in 2018. He attended the Columbus College of Art and Design before transferring to The Ohio State University.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Susan Taylor and Kelly; his father and stepmother, Jay Rollins and Darlene Rantala; brother, Blake Rollins; sister, Blair Rollins; his closest friend, Liesl Lehenbauer; grandparents, Joe and Dianne Rollins; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved pets, Bentley, Millie, Ziggy, Bruno, Chloe, and Penn.
A visitation will be held from 11am until 7pm on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Memorial donations in Nate's memory can be made to Paws For A Cause (https://pawsforacause.com), any organization that assists LGBTQ youth, or your local animal shelter.
