Nancy recently retired from Semonin Realtors of 27 years to start a new life in the Houston, TX area with her husband. She enjoyed Quilting in her spare time. Before leaving Louisville, she was a member at Salt & Light Baptist Church, Crestwood, KY and is a current member at Mims Baptist Church in the Houston area. She leaves many family & friends who will miss her beautiful soul, dedicated friendship, kindness & Love.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Chris Compton; son, Jason Raymond Bergen (Elizabeth Marie); step-daughter, Caitlin Elizabeth Payton (Michael), step-son Evan Thomas Compton (Maddie); granddaughters Katlyn Marie Thomas, Dannielle Elizabeth Thomas, Marjorie Louise Payton & Ruby Grace Bergen; sister, Betsy Reams King; brother, John Thomas Reams (Marta), and step-brother Phil Fox (Ginny).
We will celebrate Nancy’s life Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Arch L. Heady & Son in Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY. Visitation is 2-4pm with a Memorial Service held at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to either Crusade for Children or Festival of Trees & Lights (envelopes will be provided).
