Nancie Ellen “Ryan” Farmer, 83, of Louisville passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 10, 1937 to the late James W. and Virginia Ellen Ryan.
She was the youngest of eight children and the last surviving sibling. She and her family are reunited again. For three decades Nancie enjoyed being a faithful and active member of Lynnhurst United Church of Christ where she worked as church secretary and sang in the choir. Her Christian faith was a strong guiding focus throughout her life.
Her loving husband of 54 years, Dallas Charles “Charlie” Farmer Jr. preceded Nancie in death.
Nancie was the beloved mother to Pamela Elaine Farmer and Joseph Ryan Farmer, adoring grandmother to Michael Ryan and Nicolas Eli Farmer, and is survived by a host of friends and relatives.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
