Mona L. Mills, 87, of Louisville passed from this life on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was the former Mona Moore, a native of Bay, Arkansas, and a member of Beechmont Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 65 years, John H. Mills; a daughter, Kathryn M. Hickerson (Edward); a son, Gary L. Mills; sisters, Mary Gaither, and Dorothy Phillips; and a grandson, John L. Hickerson.
A service to celebrate Mrs. Mills’ life will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road with interment to follow in Resthaven. Visitation will be after 10 am Thursday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Salvation Army.
