Mildred Jean Dishion

Mildred "Jean" Ross Dishion, 88, passed away on January 29, 2021. She was born in Ohio County, KY, to the late Clifton C. Ross and Oma Ethel Chapman Ross. A longtime Louisville resident and graduate from Louisville Girls High School.

Jean was a member of Parkland Baptist Church and the Louisville Girls High Alumni Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Lloyd E. Dishion in 2004, a son, David Dishion in 2008, brother, Wendell Ross (Jan), sister, Sharon Coslett and brother-in-law, William "Bill" Fox.

She is survived by her sons; Steven Dishion and Phillip Dishion (Angela), her daughters: Donna ( Robert ) DeVore and Linda Dishion, six grandchildren: Phillip Dishion Jr., Tommy Dishion, Maria Cooper, Ashley Or, Laura Adkins, and Clifton Parker, one sister, Sue Fox, brother-in-law, James "Jim" Coslett, five nephews, seven nieces and nine great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Her funeral service will be at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, Feb. 02, 2021 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218. Visitation will be from 2-7pm at the funeral home on Monday, Feb. 01, 2021.
