Michael Lawrence Wooldridge Sr.

He was a retired employee of General Electric, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era, and a huge fan of UofL sports.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn McFall Wooldridge; his parents Coleman Russell Wooldridge, Sr. and Emma Louise Mills Wooldridge; and his siblings, Donnie Wooldridge, Marvin Lee Wooldridge, and Barbara Padgett. He is survived by his children Yvonne Bolling (Jerry) and Michael Wooldridge Jr.; siblings, Coleman “Sonny” Wooldridge (Kay), Darlene Forsythe (Ken), Janice Ware (Patrick), Pat Spears (Don), Wayne Wooldridge, and JoAnn Bronn (Jim); grandchildren Ashley, Courtney (Moises), and Joshua (Haley); step-grandson, Taylor; and great-grandchildren Caylee, Harmony, and Jace.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Saturday, June 3 at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until the time of the service Saturday, June 3. A private interment of his ashes will take place at Bethany Cemetery.
