Michael Ray "Mike" Wolf, 58, of Louisville, passed away on the morning of July 10, 2013, with family by his side. He was a very strong faith based Catholic and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. He was the #1 Cardinals fan of all U of L sports, as well as a Cincinnati Reds fan. He loved to watch the horses with friends, and cousins, Billy Stilger and Ray Kippes at the VFW and was a member of the St. John Sick and Benevolent Society. He loved gardening and taking care of his yard but he most loved spending time with his family and sharing holidays with them.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Fred J. and Wanda Lee Emerson Wolf; sister, Brenda Martin and brother, Phillip Wolf Sr.
Cherishing his memory are his brothers and sisters, Barbara Wolf (Ron) Kinberger, Donna Wolf (Mark) Sinkhorn, Nancy Wolf (Ben) Blanton, Freddy Wolf, Jr., and Theresa Wolf; brother-in-law, Dennis Martin and sister-in-law Cathy Wolf; along with many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial and Life Celebration will be on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11. a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 1020 E. Burnett Avenue, Louisville, KY, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road.
