Michael L Mikesell, age 73 passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Norton Audubon. Mike was retired from Mike Linnig's. Mike loved rock and roll and Elvis music, he enjoyed playing his guitar and banjo, he enjoyed watching old western movies and most of all he loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty and grandson Justin Lee. He has left behind to cherish his memory; children Robert Mikesell (Elizabeth), Michelle Higgins (Scott) and Michael Mikesell Jr., nine grandchildren; Nicholas, Natalie, Robert Jr. Mikesell, Lisa Clark, Thomas Mikesell, Austin and Brandon Higgins, Jessica Sawyers and Joleena Mikesell- and eight Great-grandchildren
A visitation for Michael will be held Monday, January 20, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272. His funeral will be Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272.
