May W. Zickel

Born in Worthville, Kentucky on December 10, 1932, May Bonn was the daughter of the late Guy F. Whitehead & Edna Bonkofsky. She was a homemaker, avid seamstress and a member of the Audubon Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, Guy F. & Edna Whitehead; her husband, James Zickel; & sister, Hester Ann Whitehead, precede May in her passing.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sandy Binford, Peggy (Billy) Cecil & Jimmy Zickel; 2 – grandchildren, Shannon (Jon) Graeter & Travis Cecil; 2 – great – grandchildren, Emilee Graeter & Ethan Graeter; brother, Guy (Shirley) Whitehead; several nieces & nephews; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

In lieu of flowers & customary expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made to Hosparus.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Garden of Flowers of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
