Maxine M. Marr

Maxine M. Marr, age 86 passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023. She was born to the late Lilly Mae and Homer Milby of Greensburg, KY. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Marr, son, Johnny Marr, daughter, Janet Wood Tipton, two sisters, Frances McCubbins and Faye Bishop and fur baby, Pepper.

Maxine was a member at Nelson County Baptist Church. She was devoted to her faith and her family. Maxine was a Private Caregiver for many years. She dedicated herself and time to assist others in need. Having an infectious personality, she developed friendships throughout her entire life that has lasted just as long. As a breast cancer survivor, she lived life to the fullest and supported others in do the same.

Here to carry on her memory is her grandchildren; Faith Gold (David) and Hope Tipton (Brian), great-grandchildren; Jessica Gabbard, Serenity Tipton , Heavenly Redmon, great-great grandchild, Natalie Crady, her sister, Irene and brother Ray.

A visitation for Maxine will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will following the funeral service in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
