Mary A. Watson

Mary was born on July 6, 1950 in Oak Park, Illinois.

She graduated from Silver Creek High School in Sellersburg, Indiana in 1968.

She loved music, baseball, and IU basketball. She was baptized and attended Jacobs Chapel United Methodist Church in New Albany, Indiana. She will be greatly missed by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hugh James Watson and Lucille Watson. Left to carry on her memory are her sisters, Priscilla Wayman (Rick), and Karen Veith (George) and in addition the loves of her life, her four nieces, Laura Holmes, Jennifer Black (Jeff), Starr Punelli (Rick) and Heather Sams.

Visitation will take place from 2 to 6 pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 with a memorial service to follow, at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to all the staff at Rolling Hills where Mary spent the last 24 years. They would also like to thank the staff at Hosparus and Hospice for their guidance through this difficult time.
