She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Chism.
Mary Helen left behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 35 years Jim Rodman, children Charles Edmund Shockey II, Heather Anne Shockey (Tracey MacDermott) and Natasha Annette Halcomb (Kenneth) and grandchildren Madalyn and Andrew Halcomb. She is also survived by her siblings Judy Wegenast, Terri Paris, Delena Bidwell, Jaquelyn Asman, Jerrilyn Yates, Paul Chism and Deborah Raque and many loving nieces and nephews.
A service honoring the life of Mary Helen will be held Friday at noon at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
