Mary Dolores Richard

She was born August 25, 1930 in Louisville, the daughter of Henry and Rebecca Knoop.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Floyd E. Richard; a sister, Laverne Whitesell and two brothers, Al and Edward Knoop.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Sherry Moore (Tim); step-daughters, Kim Noltemeyer (David Sr.), and Christine Richard; her sons, Ronald Peak, Jr., Duane Peak (Tina), Greg Peak (Raygina); step-sons, Michael Richard (Gerrie) and Kenny Richard (Carol); a sister-in-law, Emeline Knoop; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two nieces, Pam Schurfranz (Tom) and Sandra Thomas (Pat); and one nephew, David Whitesell (Robin).

A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 10, 2013 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady Russman & Sons Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak St. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be given to the Shelby County No Kill Mission.
