Mary Rose Rice, 95, of South Louisville passed from this life on Monday October 5, 2015. A native of Hawesville, KY, she was the former Mary Rose Jarboe and a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rice; a son Richard Mulvihill, Jr.; one brother and 5 sisters. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mary Rose Sidebottom (Gary); a sister, Earline Williamson; a brother, James Goldsmith; 3 grandchildren, Steve, Danny (Karen) and Todd Sidebottom (Leanne); 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A mass of celebration for Mrs. Rice will be held at 10 am Friday at Most Blessed Sacrament, 3509 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. from 4-8 pm Thursday.
