Mary Louise Mattingly

Mary Louise was born on February 12, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a retired office manager, working in a doctor’s office. She was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Mary Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Kuprion and Henrietta (Greenwell) Kuprion; step-mother, Nancy Kuprion; her husband, Charles C. “Pete” Mattingly; brothers, Robert Kuprion and William Joseph Kuprion; grand-daughter, Dee Pilkerton; and aunts, Mrs. Augusta Matte and Anne Marie Almond.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert (April), Maureen (Bobby) Kinser, Debbie Clark, Bev (Steve) Powell, Denise (Chris) Flemister, Chuck and Scott (Jeanette);11 grandchildren, 14 great – grandchildren and son – in – law, Jerry Clark, plus a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3938 Poplar Level Rd. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Home on Monday, January 4, 2021. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers and customary expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in Mary Louise’ honor may be made to the Franciscan Kitchen, 748 S Preston St. Louisville, KY 40203.

Per CDC guidelines, it is required that everyone in attendance for both visitation and funeral mass, wear a mask and properly social distance.
