She was born August 15, 1957 in Louisville, KY the daughter of William and Naomi Cummings.
She was a member of the Mandarin Christian Church in Jacksonville, FL and also a graduate of Northern Kentucky University.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Craig Mitchell King; her son, Evan Thomas King; her daughter, Emily Katherine Elizabeth King; her parents; four brothers, Steven Cummings (Becky), David Cummings (Patty), Jeff Cummings (Gary), Patrick Cummings (Amy); and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Kent Cummings.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 18, 2013 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
