Mary Louise (Buckner) Jones, died on April 8, 2012 in Louisville. She was an exemplary wife, mother, community volunteer and a retiree from General Electric. Mary is survived by her husband Charles T. Jones, 3 daughters Cheakita Webster (Aaron), Tasha Garrett (Anthony), Desiree Smith (Joshua), her husband's six children whom she loved and nurtured as her own: Jeffery Scott, Thomas, Beverly, Russell, Christina and Stephanie and 12 grandchildren who are her "Joys". She is also survived by her Father and Mother Eddie and Gladys Buckner, 3 siblings Willie Buckner, Cleopatra Buckner and Sheila Davis, and a host of family, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Friday at New Life Church, 3402 Goosecreek Road. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Friday at the church.
