It is with deep sympathy that we announce the death of Mary Ann Barker (83) who left us on September 28, 2024 after a beautiful life lived.
Mary Ann was married to her soul mate of 51 years, Tom who preceded her in death along with her sons Steve and Mike Barker.
Full of love, laughter, and resilience she touched the lives of all who knew her. She was the heart and soul of our family and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughter Laurie Vandivier (Charles), 5 grandchildren Tyler Barker, Maranda Barker, Jaden Barker, Brittany Vandivier, Nathan Vandivier and a long list of family who loved and cared for her beyond measures.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10AM on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40291 with an entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8 PM on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville KY 40218.
