Larry, Carolyn, and Linda, we were very sorry to hear about your mom.  The loss of that whole generation is complete -- what a milestone for our extended family.  No period of several hours goes by that I don't think of my mom and dad, and your family is in many of our memories of the "old days." I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Mary Paul at National Distillers and she was a sweetheart in every way.  Loved working with her and loved her as a person.  May you always cherish her wonderful memories.

You all were blessed with a very special mother, who was kind and very forgiving. As children she never got upset at some of the crazy things we did. I can still hear her say WHYYYY CAROLLLYN!! I will keep you all in my prayers.

I just heard of Mary Paul's passing and wish to extend my sympathy to her family. Even though I never met her, my mother, Mary Naomi Engleman talked fondly of her so often I felt like I did know your mother.

I am truly so sorry to read about the passing of your Mom.    I remember Mary Paul as a beautiful, sweet and lovely lady seated at the switchboard at National Distillers' office building on Leesgate Road.  I never remember her without a smile; she had a sweet, southern drawl, and her laughter was contagious.  All my memories of her are sweet.

Linda and Carolyn, grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. I remember Mary Paul as always being so sweet and caring, and I hurt for and with you today. I recall all of our conversations about our moms and how we would dread when they were no longer with us. Now that time is here, I can only offer my prayers that you find peace as you remember the wonderful life your mom had with you as you grew. She was loved by many, as you are today. God bless.
