Martha O. Wiseman

Martha O. Wiseman, 88, was born on June 9, 1934 in Green County to the late Leonard and Vera (Goff) Elmore, and passed away on Monday June 13, 2022 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She retired as a underwriting supervisor from the Continental Insurance Co., after 36 years. She was a member of Auburndale Baptist Church in Louisville and currently attending Wickland Baptist Church in Bardstown, and was a KY Colonel. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Wallace Wiseman. Left to cherish her memory are several cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends including Randy Edlin a nephew who cared for her. Funeral services for Martha will be held at noon on Friday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. in Louisville. Interment will follow in the Youngers Creek Cemetery in Hardin Co. Visitation will be from 10 am to the service time at noon on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Auburndale Baptist Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
