Martha Patricia Tally, 67, returned to her Heavenly Father Saturday, April 12, 2025. She was born to the late William and Louise Wathen on March 8, 1958. Martha was the family seamstress, loved trips to Disney with her family, reading on her patio, and spending time outdoors.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents; William and Louise Wathen, and brothers-in-law; Melvin Wolfe and Larry Lesch.
Left to cherish Martha’s memory is her husband of 48 years; John Tally, children; Kenny Tally (Emilie) and Angela Wright (Darren), grandchildren; Nathan Tally and Mollie Tally, sisters; Carolyn Lesch and Annie Wolfe, brother; Bill Wathen, Jr. (Rhonda), and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Visitation for Martha will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Evergreen Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 10am at St. Bernard Catholic Church 7500 Tangelo Dr, Louisville, Kentucky 40228. Martha will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
